Who the hell is Spencer? Well, you may be surprised to hear that Spencer is a blogging black cat. In fact he's a deceased blogging black cat.

Spencer used to comment on a town named Woking (where, coincidentally, the Martians landed in The War of the Worlds) on the other side of the world, before his sad demise in 2008. The little fella's web-site has now been reincarnated as a guide to Port Melbourne. Thankfully Port Melbourne has a whole lot more going for it than Woking.
